Chimney Fire on the South side |

Station 3 was dispatched to Church Rd for a possible chimney fire. PT 3 responded with 4 with the Chief(B.Houtz) in command. PT 3 arrived to find a 2 story log home everyone appeared to be out of the structure. Crews went inside to find the homeowner trying to extinguish the fire. Co 2 arrived and performed truck Ops laddering the roof. A small amount fo fire was found in the chimney, so dry chemicals were used to further extinguish the fire. The remants were removed from the firebox and Units secured the scene. Co 3 returned available. |
